Radio Room. Communication was also of vital importance during the second world war. Communication between the aircraft themselves during the attack. But also communication between the German radar stations and the night fighters to give the right position of discovered aircraft to detect and defuse. For a number of years the Casemates on the right side of the fort are decorated with radio equipment from this period. Nowadays the radio rooms are used by Ijmond Radio Club, a number of radio amateurs from the region.During the hours the museum is open they are making contact with colleagues from around the world.
